The WWE releases McKenzie Mitchell, leading to questions whether other talent will be released. McKenzie, who was an interviewer for NXT and a co-host on The Bump tweeted the news:

Mitchell had been an interviewer for Impact Wrestling from May 2016 to January 2019 before signing with WWE in September 2019.

McKenzie Mitchell is married to NXT commentator Vic Joseph. It sounds like she's ready for whatever new opportunity comes her way. If she decides to stay in pro wrestling, she should have no problem finding work.

Mitchell's release came the same day that Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston reported the WWE had released additional corporate employees following its mass layoffs last September.
