In recent months, WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi has been extremely critical of WWE’s creative direction for Jey Uso.

Rikishi was critical of WWE for failing to make Jey Uso Mr MITB, and now on his podcast, Rikishi has shared his thoughts on WWE teasing a romance angle between Jey and Rhea Ripley, and to nobody’s surprise, Rikishi isn’t a fan of the angle:

“SummerSlam, where's (Jey Uso) at? I don't know, let's write him in that he likes Mami. Mami? That's the best that those writers got? Let's write this guy into a relationship with Mami? What are you trying to do; break his marriage up? Y'all can't put him in a good storyline, so what you gonna do now? God forbid you guys try to tell him, or tell her, 'Tounge ki** each other on RAW.' Sh**. That better not happen…”

Rikishi’s reaction does seem drastic, but he’s of course incredibly invested in the creative direction of his son.

As things stand, Jey won’t be on the SummerSlam card.
