"The Wyatt 6" could be debuting as well?
Topping today’s news is a report from Better Wrestling Experience that the WWE is giving serious consideration to the idea of introducing The Wyatt 6.
‍
Although the WWE never gave the potential group a formal name, fans christened what looked to be a new faction “The Wyatt 6.”
This followed Bray Wyatt’s wild return to the WWE at 2022’s Extreme Rules, and speculation concerning what was next for the former Fiend.
‍
The WWE teased that a faction was forming built around Bray Wyatt in 2022 and 2023, including Uncle Howdy and what looked to be a return to the fold by Alexa Bliss. Now, the WWE may be ready to unleash The Wyatt 6 on the WWE...
‍
According to BWE:
"The idea of the funhouse and wyatt6 are still on the table. All parties agreed to move on with it and deliver whats best to honor the name of Bray. It’s a matter of timing now."
‍
Fans seemed to be excited about the idea of wrestlers working in a faction with Bray Wyatt, including rumors that WWE Superstars would be playing real-life versions of The Firefly Funhouse puppets.
‍
The question is how WWE fans will react if the WWE introduces a group based off “The Wyatt 6.” Will the WWE Universe see this as a way to honor Bray’s memory or will they see it as a cheap exploitation of a beloved wrestler?
‍
The WWE also has to deal with the problem posed by its booking of The Fiend and Wyatt following his 2022 return — whether wrestlers would want to work in supernatural-based storylines with a poor track record of helping get Wyatt’s opponents over. It’s a tricky situation and one the WWE will have to be careful about.
