Due to WWE focusing on the brand split once again, fans have been speculating that WWE could be reverting to brand exclusive premium live events.

These types of shows were common during the Ruthless Aggression Era, and WWE also tried them out when the modern-day brand split was introduced in 2016.

Despite the online speculation, BWE on Twitter has confirmed that although the concept of brand exclusive PLEs was discussed, Triple H shot the idea down, as he wasn’t a fan:

“They discussed it. H didnt like it.”

Brand exclusive events are a great way for mid and lower card talent to get exposure, but ultimately, they always perform considerably worse than dual branded shows, so Triple H probably has the right logic with this decision.
