Los Lotharios may be done as a team. Real-life cousins Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo recently jumped to the black-and-gold brand but their loss to Nathan Frazer and Dragon Lee led to the two getting into a shoving match after the match. Garza gave chase to Carrillo, who made a strategic withdrawal through the crowd.
This potential split isn’t a complete shocker as the two were at odds for quite some time on RAW, with Humberto playing a babyface to Garza’s heel persona. This time, it appears the roles may be reversed but it’s unclear if the WWE felt their team was unnecessary on NXT and that a feud between the two would be better.
In addition, the WWE hasn’t used them on TV, with Wrestletalk’s Amanda Savage noting
“This was their first match together as a team since way back in January…” The promotion could feel they’re redundant as a team given NXT’s array of tag teams.
