Austin seems content.
It looks like the legendary, Stone Cold Steve Austin is more than happy to call it a day on his in-ring pro wrestling career.
Speaking on last night’s A&E special, this is what the WWE Hall of Famer had to say:
“I walked away. I’m happy with what I did. There are people who have done more and lasted more, but I’ve had a good career and I’m happy with it. I have nothing to prove to anyone.”
The Texas Rattlesnake previously retired at WrestleMania 19, in a match against The Rock, and then he had one more match at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens.
It was reported last year that WWE had pitched several options for Austin for yet another match, yet he ultimately turned these down.
Whilst it looks like Austin won’t be wrestling again, the former WWE Champion making more TV appearances down the line seems likely and logical.
