Was MJF hurt at the 18 November Full Gear pay-per-view? The AEW World Champion was involved in a storyline injury where The Gunn Club attacked him after he and Samoa Joe successfully defended the ROH Tag Team Championship. However, there are reports that MJF was legitimately injured when he wrestled "Switchblade" Jay White in the main event.

MJF is AEW's ace and you can be sure they'll do everything to protect him. Rumor has it that wrestling's "Salt of the Earth" signed a new deal with the company which means he'll be sticking around for several more years, despite MJF hinting he's WWE bound when his current deal expires in 2024.

If MJF is injured, it's just the latest injury to a high-profile star. MJF's best (and only friend) Adam Cole is recovering from ankle surgery and Cole's injury played a huge role at Full Gear. There, Cole offered to wrestle on MJF's behalf when it looked like Friedman's kayfabe leg injury would keep him from defending the AEW World Championship.
