Yikes...

Last year, there were rumours circulating that WWE were interested in bringing back Velveteen Dream.

Obviously, this never transpired, but according to prominent Twitter insider, BWE, a return was “so f*n close”.

It would have been a PR nightmare for WWE to bring back Dream, after all he was accused of rather sinister acts online.

At one stage, it seemed like Dream was going to be a huge star for WWE, and there were even rumours of him potentially facing John Cena.

The door seems firmly shut on a return for the former NXT North American Champion.
