2024 Free Agency Market Heating Up

Two top RAW Superstars' contracts are expiring soon, which means the WWE Universe may not see them after WrestleMania 40. Fans have heard about the WWE signing current stars such as Dominik and Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley to new deals, but there are several current WWE Superstars (including main eventers) whose WWE deals expire in 2024. Let's look at the latest news concerning two top WWE Superstars who conceivably could exit the WWE after this year's "Showcase of the Immortals."

The first wrestler is Finn Balor. Balor has been tearing things up on RAW ever since joining The Judgment Day, and while he hasn't captured a world championship (although he has fought several times for Seth Rollins' world title), his career has enjoyed a renaissance.

Now, Wrestling Inc.'s Raj GIri is reporting on Balor's status:

The X account WrestleWorld added to the story with the following tweet:

Is Drew McIntyre Leaving the WWE?

Drew McIntyre has enjoyed a resurgence over the last four months, ever since he started down the path to a heel turn (although some fans believe he's more like a tweener). However, McIntyre could still leave the WWE. PWInsider Elite recently reported:

“Drew McIntyre still hasn’t signed a new contract w/WWE. If a new deal isn’t reached, McIntyre would be free & clear to sign anywhere right after WrestleMania 40.”

H/T Ringside News

As mentioned, there are several other Superstars whose WWE deals expire in 2024. However, as is often the case, details are scarce and fans may not learn about any particulars until new deals are inked or Superstars exit the company.

The WWE has been working hard to keep some of its top stars locked into long-term deals. However, will TKO-Holdings tell the WWE they have to adhere to a budget, thus limiting just how many Superstars they can sign?

Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre have options besides the WWE. However, they may be happy where they are, especially with the WWE riding its current wave of popularity. Where do you think these Superstars will end up? Where would you like to see them end up?
