The Rock Lands a hefty payday for joining TKO-Holdings. That's the report coming from CNN Business. Today was a big day for the WWE as it announced it secured a new rights deal with Netflix to stream RAW. However, today also saw the announcement that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is joining TKO-Holdings' Board of Directors. The Rock acquired the rights to his wrestling nickname "The Rock" as part of the deal. However, CNN Business is reporting there was also some serious dough involved:
The company said in a regulatory filing Tuesday that it will pay Johnson $30 million in stock awards to promote the brand as part of his new deal. The awards will vest over the course of 2024 and 2025.
