It has been confirmed that The Rock will be a heel on WWE TV moving forward.

There has also been rampant speculation when it comes to what version of The Rock could appear on WWE TV, as throughout his career, the heel version of The Rock has taken several forms.

An update on this was provided by popular Twitter/X account, WrestleVotes yesterday. The account tweeted:

“Sources suggest that The Rock is expected to fully embrace his heel turn, drawing inspiration from his past ‘Hollywood’ Rock persona. Additionally, I’m told to anticipate the release of Rock branded ‘Cody Crybabies’ merchandise. The story is just beginning…”

The Rock, along with Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown this week, and there has already been a surge in interest in the upcoming edition of the blue-brand. According to WrestleTix, since The Rock & Reigns were formally advertised, there has been over one thousand additional tickets moved for the show.
