We’re told the dialogue was a friendly back-and-forth, but both sides failed to progress. Sources claimed that WWE walked away.

Sources also report that she could show up somewhere else with multiple pay-per-view and live events happening, including AEW’s Worlds End Show, NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom, and TNA’s Hard to Kill happening in two weeks.

Talks have been speculated for weeks, with Mercedes dropping multiple hints and teases throughout social media. It’s been reported that she wants a more lucrative contract than current WWE superstar Charlotte Flair.
