It looks like WWE are setting creative plans in motion for SummerSlam in August.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, two matches earmarked for the annual summer event include:

- Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa (WWE Title)

- Logan Paul vs. LA Knight (US Title)

The idea of Rhodes vs. Sikoa on paper doesn’t sound too exciting, yet WWE may be booking this to develop the inevitable Reigns babyface turn.

We know that Nia Jax will challenge the WWE Women’s Champion at the event, and it’s looking like that will still be Bayley come August.

Additionally, we know the KOTR winner, Gunther will take on the World Champion. This will either be Damian Priest or Seth Rollins.
