Ric Flair was recently in a sit-down interview with Chris Van Vleet’s Insight series.

Ric and Chris talked about the many endeavors and moments the Nature Boy has had, including his Retirement Match at Wrestlemania 24 with Shawn Micheals.

Ric Flair revealed that HBK called the whole match and was told by The Showstopper to “Shut up” before they walked out to their match.

“ You know, Shawn told me to “Shut Up.” Shawn said to, “Keep your mouth shut. Do exactly everything I tell you.” No one has ever told me that before.”

It seems like telling The Dirtiest Player in the Game to be quiet worked as the match is rated as one of the best Retirement Matches in the WWE and well received by the audience in Orlando during that match.
