Carlito is still expected to return.

Former US Champion, Carlito was heavily rumoured to return last week on SmackDown. Obviously, this never happened; however, PWInsider has offered an update as to the potential reason why the return never took place.

"One WWE source noted that Carlito's return on last week's Smackdown "would have been lost in the wake of the Bloodline" so it was for the best he didn't return that evening. The LWO was used only for cameo appearances on the episode”.

It will be interesting to see when Carlito actually returns to WWE TV.
