Orton is a class act.
Randy Orton is the talk of the wrestling world currently, and don’t worry, it’s for something incredibly positive. A fan that had been struggling with depression took to X to share advice from Orton that was sent to him via a direct message on X:
“Nobody is immune to Depression. I was out for 18 months, was told my career was over. For 6 months I had a terrible headspace. You have to find the motivation to start something, and then continue it, become consistent at it. Something healthy. For me, it was my back healing, eating right, hitting the gym properly and seeing the results. Look for anything that can make you see the improvement in whatever it is you’re doing. Even if it’s selfless acts, like helping others less we are resilient. Don’t give up.”
This is wonderful to see, and the fact that Orton took time out of his day to reach out to the fan - and try to offer him some guidance speaks volumes about how much Orton truly cares about the fans.
Orton seems to be in a great place mentally and physically, and this has been seen not just in his in-ring work, but the way he has conducted himself around others. Some label Orton as the unofficial locker room leader in WWE, and it’s easy to see why.
