Dethroning Davey Richards at the 2011 Best in the World pay-per-view, ‘Mr Wrestling’ reigned for 328 days - the sixth-longest in the belt’s esteemed history - and saw off challenges from some of Ring of Honor’s pillars, from Homicide and Jay Lethal to Mark Briscoe and El Generico before, over WrestleMania 29 weekend in April 2013, he was toppled by Jay Briscoe in a star-making moment for the late, great Jamin Pugh.
Still a continuous fixture across not only ROH programming, but AEW’s, too, the ROH World Championship has been held by some of independent wrestling’s most notable figures - but can you name them all?
