Night two of WrestleMania XL, as well as RAW last night featured a surprise appearance from John Cena. Cena assisted Cody Rhodes in taking down members of The Bloodline on night two, and then on RAW last night, he teamed with The Awesome Truth.

Now, Cena has offered some insight to his WWE status during a live appearance on the Pat McAfee show.

According to Cena, he still plans on finishing up his career, and he is looking to do one final run in WWE following Christmas 2024:

"[Hollywood commitments] will take me through just about Christmas. I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and heart so that maybe, just maybe, I can tell the Hollywood world to pump the brakes for a while and come back to my family for one last run. I hope, I don't know. I hope, I'm trying, we'll see what happens…”

If Cena has one last extended run next year, it’s possible that his final ever WWE match goes down at WrestleMania 41 next April.
