Some new information has surfaced regarding the potential WrestleMania 40 card.

Writing in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer writes:

“Seth Rollins vs. Punk is the confirmed WrestleMania plan. Reigns opponent is expected to be either The Rock or Rhodes, or it could be a three-way. The only women announced are Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. Lynch is the favorite to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, although there should be a Ripley vs. Jax match sooner…”

“Belair would be a favorite as well, but Lynch would then have to win Elimination Chamber. With Ripley from Australia, the Chamber show on 2/24 would make sense for the Jax match. The interest level in the show is huge, as with a stadium set-up, the get-in price is now up to $158, ranking among the biggest in history.”
