Swerve Strickland Costs The Elite the ROH 6-Man Tag Title
New ROH tag team champions were crowned on the 1 November Dynamite. The Elite's Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) and "Hangman" Adam Page came up short tonight when they defended their Ring of Honor 6-Man Tag Team Championship. As a result, The Mogul Embassy's Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona are now two-time champions.
Tonight's title change furthered the feud between Swerve Strickland and Adam Page. Swerve Strickland and his manager Prince Nana came to ringside during the match, taunting Page. Page lost his cool and chased after the heels, leaving The Young Bucks at a two-to-three disadvantage. Since Cage, Kaun, and Liona are some of Nana's clients, this proved to be an ideal situation. It not only caused The Mogul Embassy to win more gold, it showed just how much Swerve Strickland has gotten under "Hangman" Adam Page's skin. Judging from the Young Bucks' reaction after the match, Page may have also caused a rift with his friends in The Elite.
