As expected, Mercedes Mone made her AEW debut on this week’s ‘Big Business’ themed episode of AEW Dynamite.

Mone kicked off last night’s episode, and she received an earth-shattering reaction.

According to a report from Fightful Select (subscription required), Mone has been on the AEW payroll for over two months. Additionally, according to the notable outlet, multiple sources are under the impression that the deal was agreed back in December (of 2023) when she registered several trademarks for her ring name.

Although not confirmed, Mone’s deal is believed to be a multi-year contract.
