Terrible news for AEW fans as Kenny Omega announces he's out indefinitely. Omega took to X to reveal:
While it's unknown what is keeping Kenny Omega out right now, fans know Omega has often worked through pain and injuries. As Wrestling News' Angel Aramboles pointed out:
Omega took a hiatus from AEW in November of 2021 due to injuries and he later underwent hernia and knee surgery. Omega has been wrestling primarily in tag and Trios matches since his return to action.
Omega returned from injury in August 2022 only to be suspended following the alleged backstage altercation involving him and The Young Bucks with CM Punk and Ace Steel. Kenny has been a key figure in AEW and signed a new deal with AEW earlier in the year along with Adam Page and The Young Bucks.
