Which Former Superstar is Talking About a Possible Return

Is the WWE working on its surprise Royal Rumble entrants yet? The WWE Universe knows that the annual event brings surprise returns including WWE Legends returning for one night only, absent WWE Superstars returning from injury or a sabbatical, or new Superstars entering the company. This sense of surprise makes The Royal Rumble one of the WWE's most-anticipated PLEs and 2024's event will likely have some big surprises in the Men and Women's Royal Rumbles.

The Rumble will take place on 27 January at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. That's just over a month away so has the WWE started planning its surprise returns? Not according to , Sean Ross Sapp who was asked whether the WWE has reached out to anyone. Sapp responded:

‘‘I haven’t heard that yet, I would imagine that would start in a couple of weeks though.”

Former WWE Superstar Talks Return

One former WWE Superstar who is open to returning is Ariane Andrew (aka former WWE Superstar Cameron). Cameron, a former member of Brodus Clay's dance group, The Funkadactyls, eventually began wrestling and made a surprise return at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Ariane recently chatted with Steve Fall and sounds open to the idea of a Royal Rumble return:

“The door is always open. It’s very difficult to say though because right now I’m very focused on PTW. As of now, our next show is February 8th and it’s a lot of work. It’s a lot of work running a whole damn company especially in the caliber of sports entertainment. If the opportunity is there though, my phone’s available for the call.”

WWE Hall of Famer Rules Out Royal Rumble Return

One WWE Superstar who won't be back at the upcoming Men's Royal Rumble is Mick Foley. The WWE Hall of Famer discussed this during his appearance on The Bump:

“On Royal Rumble, people get together and celebrate. It really makes people happy. So I’ll be tuned in, and maybe I’ll be…no, here’s the thing; I would have to lose 70 pounds just to be in terrible shape, so I am not going to be there.”

Is this just a clever ruse by Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy to lure opponents into a false sense of security? What do you think? Who would you like to see return at this year's Royal Rumble?
