Is Jade Cargill appearing at The Royal Rumble? The 2024 Royal Rumble is here and the WWE Universe is expecting some surprise entrants, whether they're debuting wrestlers or returning Superstars. A new report suggests that former AEW wrestler Jade Cargill could be one of them. According to PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Jade Cargill is expected to be at The Royal Rumble this Saturday. The report did not state that Cargill is participating.

It's not unusual for the WWE to have talent attend WWE events such as PLEs to get an up-close look at how things operate. However, rumors of Cargill's presence are sure to have some fans wondering whether the former AEW TBS Champion will make a surprise appearance.

The WWE has been training Jade Cargill at the Performance Center. Although Cargill initially appeared on WWE television in backstage segments on RAW, NXT, and SmackDown (not to mention the WWE's Fastlane PLE), she hasn't wrestled. In fact, the WWE seemed to suggest that they felt Cargill needed more training before she should wrestle. As WrestleLamia noted, this seemed odd, given Cargill's run in AEW. WrestleLamia posed the question of whether WWE officials even watched her matches.

Considering wrestling is based on keeping its fans in the dark about storyline plans, it's possible the WWE has been preparing Cargill to debut on the main roster while keeping her status confidential. If so, a Royal Rumble debut would be an ideal for Jade.
