Is Jack Perry returning to AEW soon? Fans have been asking this ever since AEW suspended Perry following the alleged backstage confrontation between him and CM Punk at the promotion's UK spectacular All In. However, Perry's potential return isn't the news concerning him as he's been busy trademarking "Jungle Boy" for a variety of items. Does this mean fans could see the return of his Jungle Boy return or is there something else going on? 

Perry was last seen on AEW TV at August's All In pay-per-view but Fightful Select is reporting that could change. Sean Ross Sapp was fielding questions about pro wrestling when he revealed that Perry is:

“no longer suspended.”

Of course, knowing AEW's difficulty booking its ginormous roster, Perry's return could still be a while off. While this is speculation, AEW may be hesitant to bring him back after discipling him as it knows there are other wrestlers who could use the time he would take. Then again, with professional wrestling Perry's return could be made into a storyline.

Perry Applies for Trademark Protection for "Jungle Boy"

Equally interesting is Perry's recent application for trademark protection for the term "Jungle Boy." According to a report from Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online:

Jack Perry has filed to trademark his previous ring name.

According to documents available on the US Patent and Trademark Office website, Perry filed to trademark the names "Jungle Boy" and Jack Perry for wrestling purposes on December 5, 2023.

Could Perry be reviving his Jungle Boy character? Perry had been distancing himself from the character for some time, referring to himself as "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry before he turned heel and began competing as Jack Perry. However, AEW and/or Perry may feel the time is right to revive The Jungle Boy character. It's also possible Perry wants to protect the intellectual property.
