Will the Match Happen and Who Could Be Involved?

An interesting Women's War Games Match rumor is making the rounds.  The WWE Universe has been eager to know who will be involved ever since the WWE announced that War Games is returning to Survivor Series. Although the WWE recently revealed that some of RAW's top stars will wage war from the men's division, there's been no talk about a women's match.

However, WrestleVotes is reporting:

Can Damage-CTRL's New Line-Up Get Their Win Back from 2022?

Damage-CTRL is no stranger to the War Games Match. Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky teamed with Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley last year in a losing effort to Bianca Belair's team of Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Mia Yim.

Damage-CTRL has added Kairi Sane and Asuka, which means the babyfaces will need to bring in a big name. Although Becky Lynch is on RAW, the WWE might work out a way for her to appear on a SmackDown team.

Although this is speculation, adding Jade Cargill to the babyface team could boost the babyface's power and give Cargill a big venue for her in-ring debut. Of course, if the rumors of CM Punk returning at Survivor Series are accurate, the WWE may not want to have Punk overshadow her (or vice versa). The WWE may also feel it doesn't have the time to develop a storyline reason for Jade wanting to help the babyfaces.

A Major Match

The rumored women's War Games match is a major one in the making. This is the second year in a row that Damage-CTRL has competed in the Women's War Games match, which shows the group is still a key player in the women's division. The match's finish could have major consequences too if a recent rumor proves true. Word has it that a member of Damage-CTRL may be turning babyface. One way to work this would be to have Damage-CTRL lose and the rest of the group blame the wrestler in question for their loss. Check out our 13 November YouTube news video for more details.

Now that Damage-CTRL has added two top talents, the balance of power could shift to the heels' side even further. Will anyone rise to the occasion on SmackDown to help the babyfaces or will War Games lead to another beatdown for the babyfaces?
