Cody Rhodes bled at the recent WWE PLE.
Cody Rhodes is prone to a blade job or two, and Rhodes even suffered blood shed during his I Quit match with AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle.
The reigning WWE Champion recently appeared on the Major Figure Podcast, and Rhodes discussed his thoughts on blood in pro wrestling, and as expected, Rhodes had positive thoughts:
"It’s very fun to see. Blood is part of sports entertainment, part of pro wrestling. It’s in a weird way, I don’t mean to sound toxic at all, it’s nice to see it celebrated in the packaging and in this moment. Actually, I gave myself a nice pat on the back for — recently going into WrestleMania, I was the first WWE shirt that got a little blood on it as well, they had done the skull with a little cut up top after Rock beat the hell out of me in the rain…”
WWE have drastically altered their blood policy this year, as numerous segments/matches have featured blood.
Blood was previously outlawed in 2008 when WWE transitioned to a PG presentation.
