The WrestleMania XL documentary STILL hasn't been released.
Reigning WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes has discussed when he was informed that the direction for WrestleMania XL may be The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, The American Nightmare revealed:
“It is revealed in that documentary and might put things in a different perspective for people; I found out the possibility of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns the day of the Royal Rumble. I had to leave that room, head up, and make sure no one knew what could possibly happen and probably one of the more difficult days I’ve had in the wrestling business, but how could I complain when you’re winning the Royal Rumble and you’re pointing at the sign. It was such a high, such a low.”
The WrestleMania XL documentary has still not been released by WWE, yet it’s worth mentioning that it was reported last week that the documentary is now an hour long, so WWE have seemingly turned the documentary into a mini film of sorts.
As we all know, The Rock vs. Reigns didn’t go ahead, and instead Rhodes main evented both nights of WrestleMania XL, and finally became WWE Champion.
