Carlito Is Back!

Carlito was last seen in the WWE at its Backlash show during the Damien Priest vs Bad Bunny match where he helped the LWO even the odds against The Judgment Day. Carlito received a thunderous ovation in his Puerto Rican homeland, which may have renewed the WWE’s interest in him.

Rumors surfaced, Carlito cancelled his appearance at an Indie show, due to signing with WWE.

Dave Meltzer discussed the rumor during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio:

“Well, the only thing that I know is he had an independent show on July 15 for Devon Nicholson in Canada, and he called him up to cancel and said that he has signed with WWE. So… perhaps he has signed with WWE, it wouldn’t surprise me. He got that big pop in Puerto Rico so maybe he’s back. We’ll have to wait and see. Maybe they have a storyline for him. That’s what Devon Nicholson said today,"

It seems the rumors are true regarding his return, as PWInsiderElite has confirmed when WWE will be bring back the second generation star:

PWInsiderElite.com has heard from multiple WWE sources that the 7/7 Friday Night Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC is targeted for Carlito's return to the company. So, he's heading to the Blue brand.
