AEW have suspended Sammy Guevara.

Fightful Select are reporting that Guevara has been suspended following his AEW match with Jeff Hardy.

Fightful Select notes that concussion protocol wasn’t followed following the botched Shooting Star Press.

It’s unknown how long Guevara is set to be suspended for, but we will keep you posted on any developments.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that the former TNT Champion has been suspended by AEW. This latest suspension marks Guevara’s third suspension during his time in AEW. He was previously suspended for making controversial comments regarding Mercedes Mone. Guevara was also suspended for a backstage incident with Eddie Kingston.
