Check back as we present real-time recaps.

Zero Hour (Pre-Show)

Ring of Honor World Championship Match. Eddie Kingston (Champion) vs Jay Lethal (with Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt)

Eddie Kingston has to not only deal with the always-competitive Jay Lethal, but his ridiculously large entourage. Ortiz shows up to offset the interference, allowing Eddie to get the 1-2-3 after he blasts Lethal with the spinning backfist.

Winner: Eddie Kingston

Claudio Castagnoli vs Buddy Matthews:

It's a Slobberknocker Supreme as the representatives from The Blackpool Combat Club and The House of Black batter each other in and out of the ring. Castagnoli gets the submission win after locking Matthews in the Sharpshooter.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

After the match it looks like Buddy Matthews is going to shake Claudio's hand but Buddy brushes him off.

Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship Match. Samoa Joe and MJF (Champion) vs The Gunn Club (Colten and Austin Gunn):

Samoa Joe has agreed to help MJF defend the tag team titles on the condition MJF gives him another shot at the AEW World Championship. MJF starts the match, despite having a big AEW World Championship Match in tonight's main event. MJF tells Joe he doesn't need his help but Joe tags himself in. Joe throws the Gunns around like ragdolls. Some tension between Joe and MJF as Joe tries to show up his partner. The two tense partners go for double Musclebusters but the Gunns escape. 3:10 to Yuma on Joe but MJF breaks up the pin. The Gunns beat down MJF outside the ring while Joe recovers from the 3:10 to Yuma. The Gunns go to hit their finisher again but Adam Cole's music plays, distracting the Gunns. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch as MJF retains the tag titles for his best friend Adam Cole.

Winners: MJF and Samoa Joe

After the match, MJF shakes Samoa Joe's hand. Apparently, MJF's offer to give Joe a title match is good. MJF shakes Adam Cole's hand as Cole stands outside the ring on crutches. The Gunns attack MJF after the match, blasting his leg with a steel chair. They're just getting warmed up as they place the steel chair around MJF's leg and one of the Gunns jumps onto it from the second rope.

MJF is taken out on the gurney as Adam Cole stands by on his crutches. "The Salt of the Earth" is loaded onto the ambulance as he pleads with Adam Cole to make sure he doesn't lose his AEW World Championship.

Main Show

Six Man Tag Match. Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne vs Sting, Darby Allin, and Edge (with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair):

Edge comes out with Darby Allin-esque face paint on. Edge wants Christian Cage but "Captain Charisma" plays Captain Coward, dodging Edge at every opportunity. Finally, Edge gets Christian in the ring and Cage runs for his life, abandoning his teammates and allowing the faces to get the win. The babyfaces triple-team Luchasaurus as Darby Allin lands the Coffin Drop for the pinfall win.

Winners: Sting, Darby Allin, and Edge

After the match, Tony Schiavone meets with an AEW referee and "Switchblade" Jay White. Schiavone reveals that MJF is not medically cleared to defend the title. As a result, the AEW World Heavyweight Championship is being awarded to Jay White. Before White can claim the title, Adam Cole comes out and says he's going to defend the title in MJF's place.

International Championship. Orange Cassidy (with Hook) vs Jon Moxley (with Wheeler Yuta):

Jon Moxley has said he wants more than the title, he wants to destroy Orange Cassidy and end his career. The match begins with Mox well on his way to doing so. However “Freshly Squeezed” busts Moxley open with a series of headbutts. See-saw affair as Cassidy locks in Redrum. Moxley makes it to the corner but O.C. doesn’t want to break. Finally, the referee pulls Cassidy off and the top turnbuckle cover flies off. Cutter and a Gotch Piledriver to Cassidy but O.C. kicks out. Moxley goes after Cassidy but O.C. dodges and Moxley flies head first into the exposed turnbuckle. Dropkick to Moxley sends Moxley head first into the exposed steel. Series of Superman Punches as Orange Cassidy beats the odds and gets the win with the Beach Break, covering Mox for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Orange Cassidy

AEW Women's Championship Match. Hikaru Shida (Champion) vs "Timeless" Toni Storm (with Lutha):

See-saw battle until Lutha hands Toni a shoe which she hides in her ring gear. Lutha hands Storm a second shoe, which distracts referee Aubrey Edwards, allowing Toni to clobber the champ with the other shoe. Cover but Shida kicks out. Both women begin exchanging strikes but Shida stuns Storm with a roundhouse kick. Shida hits a Falcon’s Arrow and a cover but “Timeless” Toni kicks out. Shida lands wrong on her ankle and Storm capitalizes, applying the ankle lock. Shida fights to reach the ropes and finally does. Storm rips off Shida’s shoe but Shida blocks her from using it. Shida goes after Storm with her staff but Lutha stops her. Back in the ring, Storm loads a tray into her tights and delivers a hip attack in the corner, stealing the win and the AEW Women’s Championship.

Winner: “Timeless” Toni Storm (New AEW Women’s Champion)

After the match, Mariah May brings flowers into the ring for "Timeless" Toni to celebrate.

Renee Paquette interviews ROH World Champion and New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston about AEW's upcoming Continental Classic Tournament. Kingston reveals that he's raising the stakes for the match and that whoever wins the tournament will win his championship titles.

Ladder Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: Ricky Starks and Big Bill (champions) vs. La Facción Ingobernable (Rush and Dralístico) (with José the Assistant) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King):

It's a nonstop rollercoaster ride as all four teams pull out all the stops to climb the ladder and grab the championship belts. Ultimately, it comes down to Ricky Starks and FTR's Dax Harwood climbing to the top, but there can only be one and Starks secures the titles to retain.

Winners: Ricky Starks and Big Bill

TBS Championship. Kris Statlander (champion) vs. Julia Hart vs. Skye Blue:

Hart and Skye Blue team up to soften up Statlander but it's clear it's an alliance of convenience. After taking the champ out, the two women throw down, with Julia Hart showing her ferocious side. Sky doesn't hold back though, slugging away at Hart. You can't keep Statlander out of the match for long. Statlander delivers Saturday Night Fever to Blue, covering Sky for the pin. However, Hart swoops in and takes out Statlander, covering Blue for the win and the title.

Winner: Julia Hart (New TBS Champion)

Texas Death Match. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs "Hangman" Adam Page:

Page ambushes Strickland before the match, delivering the Buckshot Lariat. The only way to win is by submission or a referee's ten count on your downed opponent. Page ties up Swerve's hands with electrical tape and beats him senseless, busting him open and going to town on Swerve's head with a stapler. However, a low blow stops Page and Nana frees Swerve. It's nothing short of a bloodbath as Swerve drops Page onto a cinder block. In between the action, each wrestler use chairs (including chairs wrapped in barbed wire) to bludgeon each other. Strickland looks like he's down for the count but Prince Nana helps him get to his feet. Swerve Strickland empties a bag of glass onto Page, delivering a moonsault to him. Neither man will quit though. Swerve and Nana put a board covered in barb wire into the ring. Swerve sets it on two chairs. Swerve takes Page to the top rope but "Hangman" counters putting Strickland through the barbed-wire board. Deadeye onto the board. Page wraps barbed wire around Swerve's head then delivers another Buckshot Lariat. The referee counts but Nana pulls Strickland to safety. Brian Cage runs in and delivers a series of powerbombs, flattening Page. "Hangman" fights back, wrapping a piece of barbed wire around his fist and pummeling Cage. Prince Nana tries to interfere and Page hits the Deadeye, putting Strickland's manager through a table. Strickland finally recovers and breaks the cinder block over Page's back. Strickland grabs a chain and chokes Page out. It's too much and "Hangman" Page is unable to answer the ten-count.

Winner: Swerve Strickland

The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (Jets Get the Young Bucks AEW World Tag Team Championship Match if they win but must disband if they lose):

Plenty of bad blood because the Bucks can't believe Omega is teaming with Jericho. It's a solid tag match and despite the Bucks being one of wrestling's most well-oiled machines, Omega and Jericho are too much. Kenny hits the One-Winged Angel on Matt Jackson, covering him for the win.

Winners: The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega)

The Bucks throw a temper tantrum following the match. Kenny Omega offers his hand to the Bucks but they turn him down.

Adam Cole shows up on crutches and somehow gets into the ring to defend the title against Jay White. Then sirens sound. MJF has commandeered an ambulance and he makes it to the ring, his leg heavily taped.

AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match: Maxwell Jacob Freidman (Champion) vs "Switchblade" Jay White:

White targets MJF's bum leg immediately, striking it repeatedly. White stomps MJF in the corner until the referee breaks things up. White tosses MKF out of the ring as the Gunns double team MJF. The referee sees this and sends them to the back. MJF is still in big trouble as he can barely move. MJF mounts a comeback but his knee continues to hamper him. Once MJF has the advantage, he punches away at White, even biting the challenger. MJF motions for the Kangaroo Kick and hits it. Somehow, he's fighting back the pain. All it takes a good shot to MJF's injured leg and "Switchblade" regains the advantage. MJF shows his resiliency as he fights on, putting White through a table. It looks like both men are going to be counted out but Max makes sure they both get back in. White places MJF in The Tree of Woe and tries to take MJF's knee wrap off. The champ throws the challenger off the top rope. White goes back to the top and plants MJF into the mat. Cover for a near fall. White locks in the figure four and it looks like it's all over for MJF. Adam Cole is ready to throw in the towel (or in this case, MJF's jersey) but Max reverses the figure four. White somehow makes it to the ropes. Cole grabs a title belt and goes to hit White but White grabs the belt and blasts MJF. Cover on MJF but Max kicks out. Referee bump as MJF inadvertently kicks White off him and he hits the referee. Cole tries to hand MJF the Dynamite Diamond Ring but White beats him to it. White goes to slug MJF but the champion hits a low blow. The Gunns run in as Max slugs them, knocking them out of the ring. MJF connects with the ring and covers White for the win.

Winner: MJF
