Adam Copeland wins and loses the TNT Championship in one night, and what a night it was. "The Rated-R Superstar" faced his former best friend Christian Cage in a no-disqualification match for the TNT Championship, with both men taking each other to the limit.

Copeland showed no mercy to Cage, pummeling him in and out of the ring despite repeated interference from Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne. The match saw both Cage and Copeland pulling no punches. At one point, Copeland put Nick Wayne through a flaming table after Christian and Nick tried it first on Cage.

However, Copeland was not to be denied and he finished the match by landing the Killswitch on Cage, covering him to become the new TNT Championship. It was a hard-fought win but unfortunately, a short-lived one.

Captain Charisma Comes Through

Despite his loss, the night wasn't over. Christian's henchman (or hench-dinosaur) showed up, with his newly won contract for the TNT Championship. Killswitch ambushed Copeland chokeslamming him through a chair. The man-monster went to cash in his contract, only for Christian to ask him to give it to him. Cage whispered something to Killswitch, who handed the contract over. Moments later, a new match began and Christian speared Adam Copeland for an easy win and his second TNT Championship.

This is a  shocking swerve and a reminder of why Christian Cage is so dangerous. While the Adam Copeland vs Christian match is far from over, this is a major setback for "The Rated-R Superstar. Christian match is far from over. This is a major setback for "The Rated-R Superstar.
